ABOUT

Alyssa Carter is a multifaceted creative entrepreneur with a passion for storytelling. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production, Alyssa has written, directed, and produced numerous short films, music videos, and commercials over the last decade. She is currently finishing her first feature documentary film, TERMS, which covers a deep dive into the trials of pregnancy loss, and how current policy is impacting women and families in this landscape.

Adjacent to her film work, she is a Director of Creative Ad Strategy. Throughout her career in digital marketing, she has developed creative for brands including Noom, Home Chef, Athletic Greens, and most recently Kevin Hart’s VitaHustle.

At the heart of Alyssa’s work is a fascination with language, neuropsychology, and our approach to communication— how the words we choose shape perception, influence behavior, and ultimately determine how we understand one another. Whether she’s directing a film, developing a marketing campaign, or mentoring, she believes meaningful connection begins with learning how to meet people where they are.

Later this year, Alyssa will launch her new podcast, In Real Terms, a chip off her Documentary film, TERMS, where she explores the language we use, the meaning we attach to it, and how curiosity can change the way we communicate.
